SUSANA ROCHA

Susana Rocha develops her practice around tensions, which are explored through a multiplicity of materials with characteristics with metaphorical potential, which often evoke an implicit relationship with a suggested body; that manifest a transitory meaning of life, where the experience of mourning and the absurd have a strong presence; that start from the phenomenon of suggestion to embody absence, limitation and failure. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of DUPLEX in Lisbon. Her work has been shown in several national and international contexts.

There is, for example, a pleasure in remembering that can be very rewarding. ”
